This is a cigar that started with a wrapper. It started with a Habano leaf grown in the Connecticut River Valley with the very unusual cultivation technique reserved usually for Broadleaf tobacco. The whole plant is cut at the stock rather than the usual priming. The result of trial and error landed a fuller, spicer blend of 7 distinct tobacco fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua encased in a Brazilian Binder, and don’t forget wrapped with this unusual Stalk-Cut Connecticut Habano wrapper with notes of oak and leather with hints of malted chocolate.
